Hi I'm Racheal Vencill...Thank you for visiting!!!
Just a little about me, I am a wife and mother of two. I have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old girl and a handsome boy turning 1 year old this month. My family is my everything and I love them very much! My interest in childcare started at a very early age. From playing school as a child to babysitting my nieces as a teenager, I just couldn't get enough. Now some years later, here I am with my own daycare and a chance to get back to my passion..caring for, laughing with, learning from and teaching children!
Experience & Education
In high school, I took childhood development courses where I gained experience caring for children and planning activities. I then accepted an internship to become a student teacher for Hilltop Elementary school. I loved it so much I stayed on to assist during the summer. I continued working with children providing care to a local family until their children were of age to care for themselves. I went on to work at Arthur Slade Private school, first in their before and after program, then becoming a group leader and finally senior staff certified, helping to teach in the preschool. I took a brief period to focus on my health while managing a Curves for Women, where I learned the importance of good health, nutrition and fitness that I am now able to incorporate into my childcare program.
To ease the minds or parents and guardians in need of childcare to know that your children are being lovingly cared for in a fun, safe environment.
For Cheerful Cherubs to be more than just a home daycare business; it is here to help build and strengthen families and the community through group activities, parent's nights out and charity donations/drives.
